Capstone Pharmacy Services Inc. acquires Pharmacy Corp of America Inc. from Beverly Enterprises Inc. PharMerica Inc. is formed thereafter.
April 1999
Bergen Brunswig Corporation acquires PharMerica Inc.
August 2001
AmeriSource and Bergen Brunswig merger is completed to form AmeriSourceBergen Corporation.
July 2007
AmerisourceBergen Corporation and Kindred Healthcare Inc. combine their respective institutional pharmacy businesses, PharMerica Long-Term Care and Kindred Pharmacy Services (KPS), to form PharMerica Corporation, headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky.
